Roofing is not just a job for us. It is in our blood. Our owner, Luke, is a third-generation roofer who learned the trade the old-fashioned way.

While other children were playing video games, Luke was often found helping out on jobs or learning the ropes, quite literally, from his father and grandfather.

Growing up in the industry taught him there are no shortcuts in construction. You either do the job right, or you do not do it at all. A reputation takes years to build but only moments to ruin.

As Luke took the reins, he wanted to bring a fresh energy to the trade. He established Prestige Roof, focusing on high-quality slate and tiled roofing across Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex and the wider East of England. The business grew quickly through word of mouth and recommendations.

Customers told us they wanted more than just watertight roofs. They wanted the same trusted team to look after the rest of their property too, so we built a dedicated specialist services division alongside the roofing arm.

For a while, we ran roofing and specialist services as two separate companies, with two websites and two identities. But many of our customers were the same people, and so we united our services under one single banner: The Prestige Roof.

You have probably seen them around Dersingham and the wider East of England. Our bright pink vans are hard to miss, and that is the whole point.

When we rebranded, we wanted to step away from the traditional, drab image of the construction industry and show that we are different. Modern, approachable, vibrant. The pink vans with our cartoon-style graphics reflect our personality perfectly.

We take our work incredibly seriously. We just try to bring a bit of colour and a smile to every street we visit.

Prestige Roof is a thriving local employer. We have a fantastic mix of experienced tradespeople who have seen it all and young apprentices who are learning the Prestige way. We are a family-run business at heart, and we treat our team and our customers like family.

No story about us would be complete without mentioning the real boss. Bella, our white Pomeranian, is the heartbeat of our office and our head of morale. If you visit us in Dersingham, she will likely be the first one to greet you.
