Roofers in Norwich

Roofers across Norwich and its villages

Norwich is a city of enormous variety when it comes to roofs. The medieval lanes and historic buildings around the cathedral and the castle sit alongside street after street of Victorian and Edwardian terraces in areas like the Golden Triangle, Thorpe Hamlet and Mile Cross, and then the large post-war and modern estates that ring the city. Each era of building brings its own roof type and its own quirks, from natural slate and clay pantile to concrete interlocking tile.

Common roofing work in Norwich

That range of property gives us an equally wide range of work. In the Golden Triangle, Thorpe Hamlet and the other Victorian and Edwardian terraces it is natural slate that slips and breaks, lead valleys and chimney flashings that fail, and the shared parapet and valley gutters that block and leak. On the inter-war and modern estates ringing the city it is concrete interlocking tiles, dry verge and ridge systems, and flat roofs over extensions and dormers, along with uPVC soffit, fascia and guttering replacements. Chimney repairs and repointing, moss removal and spray foam removal round out what we are regularly called to do here.

As well as the city itself we cover the surrounding towns and villages, including Sprowston, Thorpe St Andrew, Hellesdon, Drayton, Taverham, Costessey, Hethersett and Cringleford, and out to Poringland, Brundall and Blofield. We are a third-generation, fully insured family firm, we guarantee our work and we give a clear written quote with no pressure.
