On Sunday 27 September, Luke is running the Sandringham Half Marathon to raise £1,000 for Down's Syndrome Norfolk. It is the charity we already support from every job we take on, and it is one that means a great deal to him personally.

Luke's message
Hello everyone.
On 27th September, I will be running the Sandringham Half Marathon to raise money for Down's Syndrome Norfolk, registered charity 1098031.
For those of you who know me, you will know that Down's syndrome is something that is very close to my heart, so I wanted to do my bit to help support an incredible charity that does so much for families across Norfolk.
If you are able to spare even £1, it would mean the world. Every donation, no matter how small, goes towards a fantastic cause and makes a real difference.
Our goal is to raise £1,000, and with everyone's support I am really hoping we can get there for such a worthwhile cause.
Thank you so much to everyone who donates, shares this, or comes along to support on the day. It genuinely means a lot.
See you all on 27th September.
The run
- When: Sunday 27 September 2026, 10am start
- Where: the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, starting and finishing at the event village
- Distance: 13.1 miles on estate roads and trails, passing right in front of Sandringham House
- Charity: Down's Syndrome Norfolk, registered charity 1098031
- Target: £1,000
It is not a flat lap of a town centre. The route runs through the Norfolk countryside on the Royal Family's winter estate, which makes it a good one to watch as well as a hard one to run. It is also close to home: the estate sits a couple of miles from our yard in Dersingham.
Coming along on the day
If you fancy cheering him on, parking sits within a five minute walk of the event village, and there are toilets, food and drink on site. Full details of the race are on the official Run Sandringham website.
Why this charity
Down's Syndrome Norfolk supports families right across the county, and Prestige Roof donates funds from every job towards their work. You can read more about that, and about the other causes we stand behind, on our Giving Back page.
If a donation is not possible, sharing this page helps just as much. And if you are anywhere near Sandringham on the day, come along and give him a shout on the way round.
