The junction where the two meet is a frequent source of leaks and it is not usually visible from the ground. Around Angel Hill, Churchgate and the streets near the Abbey Gardens, much of this is listed or in the conservation area. Further out towards Thurston, Great Barton and Rougham the stock is more mixed and includes plenty of straightforward post-war and modern housing.
