Flat Roofing in Wells-next-the-Sea

Flat Roof Replacement and Repair in Wells-next-the-Sea

On the North Norfolk coast a flat roof works hard. The wind off the sea tries to lift it and the salt air works at every joint, so old felt roofs fail sooner here than they do inland. At Prestige Roof we replace and repair flat roofs of every size across Wells-next-the-Sea, from a single garage or porch to extension and outbuilding roofs, in modern systems that are bonded down to stay put and last.

We are a third-generation family business based in Dersingham, near King's Lynn, and we cover Wells and the NR23 coast. We can usually get a roofer out to survey the roof within days, with a straight answer and a clear written quote. We work across Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex and the East of England.

Flat Roofs We Replace and Repair in Wells-next-the-Sea

• Garage and outbuilding roofs: Tired felt roofs on garages and outbuildings are one of the most common jobs we do around the harbour and the town.

• Single-storey extension roofs: Flat-roofed extensions are a frequent source of leaks once the felt has gone.

• Dormer roofs: Dormers on the older harbour-side properties rely on a sound flat top, which we renew in EPDM or GRP.

• Bay window and porch roofs: The small flat roofs on the older streets behind the Quay leak readily and are quickly put right.

• Wind-lifted roofs: Where a flat roof has started to lift at the edges in the coastal wind, we replace it with a fully bonded system that holds firm.

EPDM Rubber and GRP Fibreglass

For exposed coastal roofs the fixing matters as much as the material. EPDM rubber is a single seamless sheet with no joints to fail, which we can fully bond down so there is nothing for the wind to catch, making it an excellent choice in Wells. GRP fibreglass gives a tough, seamless finish that stands up well to the weather and to foot traffic. We will advise on which suits your roof rather than fitting the same thing to every job.
