Roofers in Terrington St Clement

Local roofers in Terrington St Clement

Terrington St Clement is one of the largest villages in West Norfolk, set on the flat, open Marshland between King's Lynn and the Lincolnshire border. Its great church of St Clement is so large it is known as the Cathedral of the Marshland, and it stands out for miles across the fields. The village itself is a mix of older brick cottages, farmhouses, bungalows and newer estates, and it is a straightforward run from our base in Dersingham.

Common roofing work in Terrington St Clement

There is very little to break the wind out here, so weather is the main enemy of a Marshland roof. We are often called to slipped and lifted tiles, loose or cracked ridges and storm damage, and on exposed roofs we favour mechanically fixed dry ridge and verge systems that stay put. The older brick cottages and farmhouses need careful pantile and slate repairs and renewed lead flashings, while the bungalows and newer homes bring concrete tile work, felt flat roof renewals over garages and extensions, chimney repairs and new uPVC soffits, fascias and guttering. We also remove spray foam insulation for homeowners whose mortgage or sale has been held up.

The Terrington St Clement area we cover

As well as Terrington St Clement we cover the villages around it, including Terrington St John, Clenchwarton, West Lynn, the Tilneys and the Walpoles, from Walpole St Andrew and Walpole St Peter to Walpole Cross Keys. More widely we work across Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex and across the East of England. We are a third-generation, fully insured family firm, we guarantee our work and we give a free written quote with no pressure. If your village is not listed below, there is a good chance we still cover it, so please get in touch.
